What are some of the key similarities between the trades? What does that mean for the potential of your company? Join host Todd and guest Josh Levy as they discuss risk management and mitigation in construction, what we can do to encourage and bolster collaboration in the industry, the importance of democratizing knowledge, and the history behind Document Crunch.
Josh Levy founded Document Crunch having spent much of his career building upon extensive leadership and expertise counseling the construction industry. Josh graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude. Josh started his career as a lawyer in South Florida focusing on complex construction litigation and evolved into a full-service construction practitioner.
The ability to process new experiences and deciphering what is most important is a skillset that is needed and leveraged all the time in construction. There are so many variables on any given project that are changing or being managed. It is crucial to project success to be able to keep your head and systematically work through those.
- The growth mindset that we so often talk about on the show has an oversized impact on a company’s ability to manage risk properly. I loved when Josh spoke about how he wished he had more confidence when he started Document Crunch. Isn’t interesting that growing in confidence directly parallels your ability to learn and adapt from mistakes?!
- Democratizing knowledge on a project, especially contractual knowledge, leads to increased efficiency across the board. So, what are you waiting for, equip your team and share the wealth.
